Webcast: Life in translation and interpreting in unprecedented times

Jose Blanco
Join Judy Jenner (Twin Translations) as she presents her view on these difficult and unprecedented times, with a positive message on the steps that translators and interpreters are taking to make it through the global health crisis. Judy talks about how social isolation and reduction in income are now part of her colleagues'  everyday lives. Judy, who has seen all her interpreting work evaporate, wasn’t prepared for this new world, but has collected tips and tricks to help us cope during this time, including home office set-up, coping strategies, dealing with reduced income, staying fit indoors, keeping your mind active and using humor to put things in perspective. Judy doesn’t have all the answers on how to make the best of this situation, but by sharing what she knows she hopes to lift our collective spirits and carry on. We’ve got this – join us!
